Location

Nestled in Theobalds Road in Bloomsbury, Woolleys has two entrances – one in Theobalds Road and the other in a pedestrian arcade called Lamb’s Conduit Passage.

History

In 1940 the entire area was heavily bombed during World War Two. The building that the House of Woolleys is in was one of the few buildings in the area that survived the incident.

Memories

A picture from the time shows a bombed site just few yards away. We take a good care of the House of Woolley’s and we constantly invest in our restaurant to ensure it truly represents “a home from home” for our customers.
